My brother crossed over the Rainbow Bridge

Today started as such a nice cool walk, but then Dad told me that my brother Puppy who has been having a hard time crossed over. He had a wonderful long life and both me and Dad are glad he's in a better place. I hope PJ is doing ok.

Easter Hike

The small fall... I'm almost as big as the falls.

Did you see that fish?

John was a big fan of the Shad.

I'm soooo happy...... the only thing better would be a nice bowl of ice cream!

Water, lots of water.

A Wee little Lad

came for a visit. Not a big strapping fella like me, but a pint sized rodent.

Must have been hard for him to find shelter in these blizzards. I thought about chasing out of my yard, but I was overwhelmed with compassion - a moment of weakness which I have since purged from my dark heart!

As for the VDOT folks, they are high on my list of !#$#@%#@^

My paws are always muddy and dirty because they won't plow. They spread a little dirt and dig big ruts into the snow and call it good.

If they don't plow by Sunday, Shad is going to go break some heads in Richmond.

The Day After

After the Snowpocalpyse was rather uneventful. No plow came through. Just lots of snow cluttering the road. Nothing that 4-paw drive can't handle though.

What happens when 30 pounds of snow meets Japanese engineering? License Plate Wiper!

Dad's Snowmobile :)

Deathcicles, they can ruin your morning paper pickup.

Bidding the day after adieu.

Blu-zard of 2010

Preparing for the storm.... well, it took a few days for them to really get the roads clear to go out. And dad went to HomeDepot and bought some stuff. Nothing for me though. But he started pulling snow off the roof so I had more to play with.

I had to check in on my neighbors to make sure they still had power (and treats).

Scouting for a good location to hide my treasure.

Well, it didn't stay hidden for long.

Blizzard 2010 - Part Deux

More Snow. Let it come. Means more time to play outside with Dad.

Falling snow is the silence of Freedom!

Can you see me? I'm greeting my neighbor.
