Wanted Dead...not alive

So, every once in a while, you just have to just unleash a rain of lead and fire on the useless of this earth. Well, Dad has declared that the time has come. Just a normal big dog group get together and this punk ass and his owner had to show up.

Yours truly got attacked by a aggressive A-hole. And now, he's gonna get some lead for lunch.

Well, at least Achilles and I had a good time - as usual.

Dad cleaned up my wounds...

Dad says he may call the police next time as this dog was just aggressive. What do you think? Police or just put the dog down himself?

Yellow is new for Blue

So, it seems that the Shad has conquered the bug that bit me. Dad says yellow is the color that doesn't kill this fellow, so I'm A-OK. Looking forward to a few days of nice weather. It really sounds like the weather in Seattle, rainy for the past week and supposed to make my paws wet at least until Sunday.

Dad put me on drugs!

I'm being tortured.. Dad and Dr Hall conspire to make me fail my next drug test for the Great Dan-athon. Something about me having blood in my pee.

Dr Hall said it could be cancer, stones, or a urinary tract infection. And I'm supposed to take a bunch of pills every day. What Dad doesn't know is that I'm playing him....he is giving me lots of canned food and treats and all I have to do is look like I might wimper over the pills.

The good thing is that Dad says things are looking much better. Will check in with you later.

Another fine day for boxing

When its beautiful and sunny and it's Sunday, there is a Great Dane Boxing match to be seen. Gone are the days where thousands would fill the Colliseum to watch the true gladiators of old.

Yet today, the Dark Knight fulfills the rituals....
After the fights, we all retired... to our favorite watering hole
Look, my little cousin showed up - all dressed in pink!

Shadows everywhere

I'm out of practice in using this mouse thing. Clearly, it was not ergonomically designed for a paw as big as mine.

Well, in January, me and Rocco did a cage match. And of course, yours truly won. Judge for yourself.

So almost a month ago, we had a small bit of snow. It was just after I complained about missing winter.

As you can see, Dad got the cheap snow machine which didn't put out much. Just enough to snack on some snow.

Well, today, we had a lot of snow. And I got to do two things I love - eat snow and make snow cones. Lemony flavor :)

The one truly good thing about a snow day, Dad stays home. He works too hard sometimes and snow days are good for that.

Winter Wonderland?

Did I miss winter? No snow this year. I'm pretty sure Dad didn't let me sleep through it.

I did get to see some long lost friends and meet some new folks. Love those rib bones!

Got to see some buffalo. Unfortunately, Dad wouldn't let me chase them. They were gonna be great playpals.

But, it has been cold recently and Dad got me a matching red coat. Now, he says were color coordinated. Personally, I think dad should have gotten a blue coat and we'd have been fine.

Dad's rather slow in his old age. I'm always having to make sure he's keeping up. Slow poke!

Home is where the Egrets roam!

I took a really long drive this past week, at least twice as far as Uncle James' castle. Did you know that there is something further south than their place? I thought it was the southern most tip of the earth. I guess Magellan was wrong again.

Well, I finally got to meet Grandpa and Grandma.... Wasn't quite the homecoming party I had expected - no parade, ticker-tape, or key to the city, but the weather was really nice.

I did have run of the dock and the back yard.

Grandma fishing and me chewing on a clam. someone told me they were supposed to be juicy and delicious, but this one was really, really HARD!

Grandpa thought about petting me....

I was careful to lead grandma around the hazzards on the road.

My portrait...

I swear I saw something move down there....

There it goes again!

Me playing in the back yard with my ball. I had a great time.

Dad says we'll go back in the spring or summer. Looking forward to another escape from the cold!

Oh, I did nearly kill Dad, hope he doesn't have any scars. He was really bleeding from his head and his glasses broke when he dove into the ground.
